The Plot

For the past 2 years Soccerclips has raised the bar regarding the artistic blend of football media and video editing expertise. In this, the third year of the competition we recognize the rebirth of the Soccerclips website as it takes the next essential step in bringing football to the online world. This is the SCCC3 - the best, the largest, the most advanced Compilation Competition on Earth. This is the SCCC3 - the only CC which brings all the legends together for one high quality, high intensity battle of wit, talent, resourcefulness and pure genius. This is the SCCC3 - The Next Level.

The Prizes

First Place: $100 USD
Second Place: $50 USD

All payments to be made using Paypal. The Paypal system is fast, easy and secure. No other payment method will be considered.

The Rules

1. Entries may be any time length but size must be no more than 200 MB

2. All entries must have an intro about the SCCC3. There is no official intro for the simple reason that an official intro will not fit every comp. Different editors have different styles. However you may use any intro that is made public by other participants.

3. NO OTHER WEBSITES MUST BE MENTIONED IN THE ENTRY. No other websites in the intro, no other websites in the comp, no other websites in the credits. If any other website is seen ANYWHERE you will be disqualified immediately.

4. No collaborations are allowed.

5. All entries must have their first release at the CC. If you put the comp on youtube or any other streaming website before the CC you are disqualified. If you put the comp on any other forum or website before the CC starts you are disqualified.

6. Entries may only be posted on other websites after they have been eliminated from the CC. So if you get knocked out then please feel free to post the video anywhere you wish. However, as long as your video remains alive in the contest, it should not be seen ANYWHERE else.

7. Entries should be submitted to D.T. and only D.T. Each entry must include the video itself on 2 different download links, as well as 3 screenshots uploaded to imageshack or photobucket. Entries should not be late.

8.. No cheating - you will be caught, disqualified and/or BANNED

The Dates

- July 28 - August 2 : entries may be submitted to DT at any time
- August 3 : Live group draw
- August 5 : The battle begins

The top 8 in SCCC2 will be given higher priority in the draw for SCCC3 and will avoid each other. All other entrants will be drawn at random.

The first round will include a group stage in which the winner progresses (second place will also progress depending on the number of entries submitted). After the first round each matchup will be 1 vs 1.

Information on Security, how to submit entries and Voting will be made available when the CC begins. Official registration for the CC will be opened when Soccerclips forum is released.

The top 8 video editors of the CC will be given ranking points which will lead to a higher seeding for SCCC4. The top 4 editors of SCCC1 and SCCC2 will also be given ranking points toward SCCC4. This means if you perform well in the CC you will improve your chances of getting an easier group in the following CC.

Each winner and runner up of every installment of the SCCC will be inducted into the Soccerclips Hall of Fame. This page will be constructed in recognition of any outstanding Soccerclips members. It will be added to the main website in approximately one year, thereby giving the Soccerclips staff enough time to discover more outstanding members for possible consideration. (note: the hall of fame is not only for video editors).

Be creative. Registration for the CC will begin when the SC forum is opened. PLEASE START YOUR ENTRIES NOW SO YOU CAN FINISH ON TIME.
