Olympic Football (Bronze Medal Match)
A double from Manchester City striker Jo helped Brazil claim the bronze medal in the Olympic football tournament with a 3-0 win over Belgium in Friday’s third place match.
Werder Bremen playmaker Diego opened the scoring in the 27th minute, sweeping the ball home after a cutback from Rafinha.
Jo then doubled Brazil’s advantage just before the break, nodding the ball into an empty net after a fierce angled drive from Ramires was only parried by Belgium keeper Logan Bailly.
Brazil’s third came in second-half stoppage time when Jo raced clear of the Belgian defense to fire home between the legs of Bailly.

Jo struck at the end of each half
